Crop image.

Cropping is the most common edit there is: trim a screenshot, cut a photo down to its subject, remove a border. This tool lets you drag a box over your image and keeps just that area, re-encoding it in the same format on your own device — the picture is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to crop it?

No. The crop and re-encode happen entirely in your browser using the canvas API. It works with Wi-Fi off, and the image never leaves your device.

Does cropping reduce quality?

Cropping keeps the original pixels of the area you select — no resizing. PNG is lossless; JPEG and WebP are re-encoded at high quality on save, which is visually lossless for a single pass.

What formats are supported?

PNG, JPEG and WebP. The cropped file keeps the format you started with.
