Watermark PDF.

A watermark marks a document as yours, as a draft, or as confidential, on every page at once. This tool draws your text diagonally across each page at an opacity you choose, using pdf-lib compiled to run in your browser — so the document, often a contract or a draft you are not ready to release, never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to add the watermark?

No. The watermark is drawn into the file entirely in your browser via pdf-lib, running client-side. It works with Wi-Fi off, and the document never leaves your device.

Can the watermark be removed again?

It is drawn into the page content, so it is not a layer a normal reader can toggle off. It is not a security feature, though — anyone determined can rasterise or edit a PDF, so treat a watermark as a clear marking, not as protection.

Can I use my own logo image?

This tool stamps text. For a signature or logo image placed on specific pages, use the Sign PDF tool, which lets you upload an image and position it.
