Frequently asked questions

What metadata is removed?

All of it — GPS location, camera make/model, lens, exposure settings, timestamps, and any other EXIF/XMP fields. The visible image is unchanged.

Is this safe for private photos?

Yes. The photo never leaves your device — there is no upload. You can verify with airplane mode or your browser’s network tab.

Does it change the image quality?

JPG/WebP are re-encoded at high quality, so any change is visually negligible. PNG is re-encoded losslessly.
